29-30th August, St Andrews
Welcome to the homepage of the Universities of Scotland Inorganic Chemistry Conference (USIC) 2017. The annual conference, which started in 1966 aims to bring together chemistry postgraduates from Scottish universities along with Newcastle and Durham. The last meeting of the series was held at the University of Strathclyde in August 2016.
The conference is held over two days and this year we have the privilege of holding it at the University of St Andrews. Student delegates will be given the opportunity to share their current research in the forms of oral and poster presentations. There will also be four keynote speakers from academia and industry covering several disciplines across inorganic chemistry. As part of this event, we will be holding a formal conference dinner for our delegates in Lower College Hall followed by a traditional Scottish ceilidh.
